mixing Earth Elements in The Paint

This collection is about cultivating our own stability in the current world, all we’ve been through collectively, and any unknowns of the future.

I’ve been observing the trees and rocks - symbols of strength- learning more about their healing properties. Specifically studying the pine trees, limestone rocks, and how they nourish and support the soil to prevent erosion.

These earth elements have been incorporated into the paintings as well.

I’m interested in the interplay of feminine and masculine. About the ability to rest in the masculine energy of stability - it’s sureness and protection.

In the past, I let outside circumstance dictate my rise and fall. I want to be strong enough to withstand the inevitable life storms (the masculine). And I want to remain soft in the daily moments of beauty without worry (the feminine).
